The Storyteller’s Tale
Kingdom Quest Book #2
“Don’t you dare look at me like that young woman,” Nabal commanded his teen daughter, Berenice. “It’s time for ya’ to become a productive member of our family. No more freeloading. He grabbed a pair of old rusty shears and swiftly removed nearly all her long, straight, dirty white hair—no explanation or no apology. “My hair? Da’ what’s happening?” she complained loudly, now squirming but to no avail. “There ya’ are. See?” said Nabal, standing back to admire his vile handiwork. “You make quite a striking lad, don’t you think? You’re as tall as one, that’s for sure. You were never very beautiful anyway, not like some girls. I think this will do fine. From now on, your name is Bear. Say it! Let’s go.”

The Tale of the Orphan Magician
Kingdom Quest Book #4
War is coming to Amaratzim—and no one knows who’s behind it.
Is it the shadowy terrorist faction known as the BLA? The newly united dwarven kingdom of Gridaria, desperate for power and riches? Or do the seeds of conflict stretch back centuries, to a forgotten feud between the continent’s legendary founders?
Some blame the enigmatic King of Garden City, whose true identity is cloaked in secrecy. Others say darker forces are at work. Amid the chaos, a single orphaned street teen may hold the key to saving everything. But how can one underestimated boy stand against empires, legends, and the weight of ancient secrets? He may not be who you think he is. And neither is the King.
One character believes it all boils down to a single, subconscious drive shared by every species. Could that really explain it all?
A gripping blend of high-stakes adventure, rich fantasy, unforgettable characters, and deep truths, this is a story that will both thrill and challenge young readers.
Shadowbound

An Allegory of the Book of Job.

Far above, in the throne room of Garden City, a bizarre wager has been made. The cunning gorgon Dolos believes humanity is weak and unworthy of the King’s devotion. His proposal? “Not all quests are the same, and this King is not what he appears to be.”
~ Tale of the Unlikely Prince
I am a huge fan of C.S. Lewis and his Chronicle of Narnia tales. Lewis is reported to have said late in his life, “If I had to do it all over again, I would write more children’s books…because adults read them.” The Kingdom Quest series in the same genre as Chronicles. It is faith-based without being preachy, life-changing without being shaming, and just a heck of a lot of fun. Someone described Tale of the Unlikely Prince as “Chronicles meets Princess Bride.” That’s about right.

The Last Quest
Kingdom Quest book for adult career businessmen and women.
This is a fictional story about Harvey, a successful entrepreneur who is about to find all of his hard work disintegrate into nothingness and void. Not his fault. He is a good man, he is a Christian, but neither seem to make any difference right now.
Then, he stumbles upon a book for teens on his absent wife’s nightstand, a young adult fantasy about dragons and quests called Tale of the Unlikely Prince. It is a fun, quirky, and adventurous book about an insecure teenage prince who demands that the King send him on a very special quest—no an amazing great quest, one like none other before or since. On that quest both the prince and Harvey (hopefully) will learn that not all quests are the same and that this King is not what he seems.
It is in and through that little book that Harvey just might find something very special that he didn’t even know he was missing or looking for in all the wrong places. Curious?
